Life can feel overwhelming when you or your child are weighed down by anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma. It may look like defiance or self harm in children or like stress, grief, and strained relationships in adults. You do not have to face this alone. Healing is possible, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move from pain toward peace and connection.
Right now life may feel heavy. Anxiety and depression can make each day feel like a struggle. Trauma can leave you feeling stuck, fragmented, or weighed down. Children may show it through self harm or defiance, while adults may carry the burden through stress, grief, or relationships that feel too hard to manage. In these moments it may seem like nothing will ever change.
And yet, here you are — still searching for something better. The ways you have been coping, even if they feel heavy, have helped you survive. That resilience is where healing can begin.
Healing is possible. Peace can grow where there has been chaos. Hope can rise where there has been despair. Connection can take root where disconnection once lived.
Since I was school age, I have carried a passion for helping people find healing. Over the years I have walked with children, teens, and adults who felt overwhelmed and alone. Together we worked gently and steadily to uncover strengths, restore trust, and open space for life to feel lighter again.
As a Certified EMDR therapist and Registered Play Therapist, I use approaches that are proven to reduce the symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression. Through Adlerian Play Therapy, children express themselves in their own language and discover new ways to cope. With Dialectical Behavior Therapy, individuals and families learn skills to regulate emotions and repair relationships. With EMDR and trauma-informed care, painful memories lose their grip and room is made for calm and confidence to grow.
I believe that when one person in a family finds healing, the whole family can change. What feels impossible today may open the door to a new beginning tomorrow.
I have worked in schools, outpatient clinics, residential programs, and community settings, supporting families through some of their hardest seasons. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself, your child, or your family, I would be honored to walk with you at your pace.
